The meaning of the program is that the vacationer gets a tour to any 5 * hotel in the resort of Alanya.
But there is one "but": the compliance of the service with the declared level. Alas, not all hotels in Turkey serve full 5 stars. And a similar moment is present in fortune - after all, they settle in unsold hotels. Perhaps the tourist refused at the last moment (and if the hotel is worthy, then this is a double-fortune :)), or perhaps he simply does not go due to a low rating.
In general, the reviews on fortune in Alanya are neutral: yes, the hotels do not carry 5 stars, but there is no overly critical one either. Everything, so to speak, is mediocre. 4-star fortune in Alanya is definitely not for a holiday on site. If only because most of them are located across the road from the beach (which you cross through a tunnel) with an inconvenient entrance to the water - boulders, slabs.

You will save extra dollars / lira, which can be spent on excursions and entertainment (such as rafting or a water park).
Surprisingly, the reviews about the budget roulette itself are quite positive. Among the hotels that at least once got involved in such a lottery, Milano Beach Family Hotel and Merhaba Hotel are good options.
But for a truly beach-hotel vacation in the company of freshly squeezed juice - the offer is so-so. In this case, Fortune in Alanya and 3 stars do not promise bingo.

Studying the reviews about Fortuna Alanya in general is pointless: who is as lucky. Someone grabbed a brilliant 5 * for a relatively penny (the hotel was not redeemed due to the high cost), but someone simply did not get lucky. But, unambiguously, it is possible to highlight the pros and cons of such a system.
Pros and cons of the fortune system in Turkey

- Perhaps the cream is the low cost of the tours (even for Fortuna Alanya 5 stars). That is why tourists choose roulette.
- Indirectly refers to the point above: the saved money for a change can be spent on excursions or shopping, good for Alanya, neither one nor the other is alien.
- An opportunity to test your fortune (for amateurs) and dilute your usual vacation, when everything is known inside and out.
Minuses
- For those who are used to monitoring hotel reviews and calculating kilometers to the beach (preferably sandy), the main condition of the system - an incognito hotel - will be a significant drawback. Although, if the resort is known, it is not difficult to sort out the possible accommodation options - you need to look at the cheapest ones from the tour operator, to which the fortune is fixed.

Should I take Fortuna in Alanya?
So, to be or not to be in Alanya and according to fortune? 🙂 Drive if:
1) abroad for the first time - there will be nothing to compare with, which means that a priori there are fewer disappointments
2) it is planned to have a rest without kids (family still better to paint on the shelves). But you can take a chance with older children, the conditions of the resort allow (sandy beach, infrastructure).
3) you can't afford a hotel higher than a three, but you really want to pamper yourself with a five for all inclusive.
4) do not shake things up in case of force majeure
5) ready for a long transfer (again, there is a problem with kilometers to the airport).
Not sure who to "risk" with? Experienced tourists recommend Biblio Globus and Anex Tour. At least they have more satisfied tour-forum users with reviews about fortune.
And yes, advice: it's better to play with Fortuna out of season. At this time, the best hotels are packed for sure, and will be resettled in the remaining, less attractive ones. Therefore - May-June or September-October!
