A mysterious underwater cave that possesses the minds of many daredevils is located in Texas. It attracts divers who want to explore it, and just those who like extreme pastime.

Jacob's Well is an underwater cave with a diameter of four meters and a depth of 10 meters, but in its depths it has many branches and transitions, so far not studied - it is assumed that the depth of the network of caves reaches forty meters. The Well's reputation is, to put it mildly, bad: it has already claimed the lives of eight divers who tried to penetrate its secrets. However, this does not frighten tourists and locals at all: they love to dive into the transparent infinity, which seems so innocent, from the coastal cliffs.

To date, only four caves-branches are known, going one after the other: the first is quite well lit and easy to get into, the second has a dangerous narrow entrance, the opening into the third chamber is complicated by loose gravel, and the fourth was named "Virgin", since no one really investigated it - they only say that there is limestone at the bottom of the cave, which is very easy to stir up, which makes it difficult to find a way out of the cave - that's where the drivers die. Nobody knows what lies next.

Previously, the well was an artesian geyser, but now the source is gradually drying up. The well can be safely included in the list of "Unusual Places of the World" for its uniqueness and somewhat mysteriousness.

Location of Jacob's Well: Texas (USA), Wimberley, Cypress Creek Park.
