The first thing worth seeing on your own in Kislovodsk is a spectacular building on Kurortny Boulevard, 4. Narzan Gallery is an architectural monument of the 19th century and the center of the city's resort life. It is built in the spirit of pseudo-Gothic. The whimsical building is shaped like a lock key.
Inside, under a glass dome, there is a seething source. Several types of cold and heated narzan flow in the pump rooms. Take a mug with you or buy a disposable glass at the entrance and drink delicious water as much as you like - you don't have to pay for the pleasure!

Kurortny Boulevard
The main tourist street of the Caucasian resort appeared in 1803. St. Nicholas Cathedral
The golden domes of the city's main Orthodox church at 19 Prospect Mira are visible from afar. The first wooden church on this site appeared in 1803. The five-domed stone cathedral was built at the turn of the 19th-20th centuries. It was destroyed in the 1930s and rebuilt in the 1990s. The modern temple rises 54 meters and can accommodate up to 3,500 believers. The entrance to the church is free.
Temple of Panteleimon the healer
One of the Orthodox sights of the city of Kislovodsk stands on Lenin Street, 3a. The first Panteleimon Church was erected in 1912. During the years of Soviet power, the temple was closed, and the building was used as a hostel, club and boiler room. It was demolished in 1965.
The new church was built in 2002 in the old Russian style. The red and white temple with a hipped bell tower looks very elegant. It is in operation and is open from morning to evening for believers and tourists.
Pavilion "Glass Stream"
Since the end of the 19th century, the Lower Park of Kislovodsk has been decorated with an original graceful pavilion of a complex design with colored stained-glass windows. The water that flows from the Mirror Pond forms a wide transparent stream. It is interesting to see a beautiful place in Kislovodsk in autumn, when the trees around are dressed in yellow and orange foliage.
Castle of deceit and love
The restaurant and hotel in the form of a medieval castle is an attraction that lovers of beautiful photos come to see in Kislovodsk. Jagged walls and lancet windows blend harmoniously into the mountainous landscape. Stylized fortifications stand under a high rocky cliff on the outskirts of the city, near the Alikonovka River. Museum of the artist Yaroshenko
The famous Russian itinerant artist lived in Kislovodsk, so a memorial museum was opened in his estate at 1 Yaroshenko Street. At the elegant White Dacha, you can see graphic works and paintings by Yaroshenko, other famous painters of the 19th-20th centuries and contemporary authors. The entrance costs 150 rubles.
Museum "Fortress"
The historical landmark of the city of Kislovodsk is located on a hill, on Prospekt Mira, 11. An unusual museum - reconstruction of the first fortification, which was built in the foothills of the Caucasus more than two centuries ago. More than 89 thousand exhibits are exhibited here - finds of archaeologists, an ethnographic collection and military relics. The entrance costs 200 rubles.
Museum of the History of Cosmonautics named after F.A. Zander
A small museum at 12 Zhukovskogo Street is a unique space collection, the only one in the south of the country that tells about domestic scientists who have devoted their lives to astronautics and rocket science. The entrance costs 100 rubles.

Bermamyt plateau
We highly recommend visiting this beautiful place! One of the most impressive views in the Caucasus awaits you there.
A steep mountain plateau with a height of 2592 m above sea level is one of the best horizons of Elbrus from the north. Jeep excursions are organized for tourists to Bermamyt.Admire the panorama of the Caucasus peaks and breathe in the clean mountain air. To see the sunrise on Elbrus, leave Kislovodsk 3 hours before sunrise. Getting up early is worth the spectacle that opens up from the mountain plateau.
You can get to the plateau on your own in a good SUV, but be sure to read in detail about the road, soberly assess your strength and take into account the weather. The team of our site twice went to Bermamyt, but once we were not lucky enough to get stuck in the mud just a couple of kilometers to the top - fortunately, another crew helped us.

Honey waterfalls
A popular attraction 10 km from Kislovodsk is located in the valley of the Alikonovka River. High cliffs, streams of water and a steep path through a narrow canyon await you. The entrance fee to the waterfalls is 60 rubles. A taxi ride in both directions takes no more than an hour. In our opinion, it is better to come to the Honey Falls in spring and summer.
Mountain Ring
On the way to Honey Falls, a sandstone mountain with a natural hole hangs over the valley. The ring 8-10 m in diameter was formed as a result of weathering. The mountain offers a wonderful view of Kislovodsk, Dzhinal ridge and Elbrus. You can reach the foot by taxi, minibus number 19 and a bus that runs from Kislovodsk to Uchkeken.

Valley of the Narzan
34 kilometers south of the city of Kislovodsk there is a beautiful natural boundary with about 20 mineral springs. The Khasaut River flows through the Narzan Valley. We advise you to visit here in winter. In the cold season, the side tributaries of the Khasaut freeze and turn into wonderful ice pillars, and from the snow-covered Shijatmas plateau, on the way to the tract, Elbrus is clearly visible.
Suvorov sources
Thermal springs 38 km from Kislovodsk are popular with locals and tourists. Warm water relieves fatigue, cures rheumatism, diseases of bones and joints. Swimming in the Suvorov baths for an hour costs 350 rubles.
Essentuki
It is only 22 km from Kislovodsk to Essentuki, so tourists are happy to travel to the neighboring city by buses, trains and taxis. In Essentuki, take a look at the local museum of local lore, take a walk in the luxurious Kurortny Park and drink mineral water in the pump rooms of Europe's largest drinking gallery "Five-thousanders".
