Flooding in Paris

Due to recent events in Paris. We made a selection of interesting photos taken during the 1910 flood.

The water level then rose by 8.5 meters, thousands of people were evacuated. For several months, metro stations and tunnels, sewers, and entire city blocks were under water.

Surprisingly, the devastating catastrophe only gave charm to the already most romantic city on earth.
