Yaroslavl is a city in central Russia where Russian traditions are strong. It is called the capital of the Golden Ring, the most popular tourist route in the region. Monument to the 1000th anniversary of Yaroslavl
Opened in 2010 on the embankment of the city. The project was funded by Gazprom and was developed by a creative team led by the capital's sculptor Mikhail Tocheny. The monument is a 20-meter stele with a double-headed eagle at the top and sculptures at the base. In the form of bronze sculptures are presented: Yaroslav the Wise, a woman with a baby, a clergyman, a warrior and a citizen.
"Eternal flame"
The monument is dedicated to the soldiers and home front workers who showed their best qualities during the Great Patriotic War. Installed in 1968. On both sides, the Eternal Flame is framed by two embossed granite walls. On the left is the profile of a soldier, on the right is a female worker. Dedicated to the philanthropist Pavel Demidov, who patronized people of science and allocated money for the creation of the first higher educational institution in Yaroslavl. In 2005, an exact copy of the pillar appeared on Ilyinskaya Square. It was created according to the previous drawings.
Monument to V.I.Lenin

"Yaroslavl Komsomolets"
